Bayshore Bikeway - Opportunities to Get Involved

The SANDAG Transportation Committee approved the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption for the Barrio Logan segment of the Bayshore Bikeway on April 21, 2017. The project is currently in the final design phase and staff is working to obtain required permits for the project, including approval under the National Environmental Policy Act. Construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2020. View a map of the proposed alignment and simulations of how the project might look. The second meeting of the Barrio Logan Stakeholders Group included a presentation preliminary alignment and project design concepts, including how parking would be addressed in the project. Members of the stakeholders group and the public had an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments on the project as presented.
