WELCOME to the Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project

The Mid-Coast Corridor Transit Project is part of a comprehensive multi-modal transit network. It includes commuter rail and new circulator bus service for commuting along the I-5 corridor from Old Town to University of California-San Diego (UCSD) and the University City Community. The project is separated into two components: the Mid-Coast Trolley Project and the Super Loop Transit Project.

The Mid-Coast Trolley Project will extend trolley service from the Old Town Transit Center to the University City Community. Click here to learn more on the Mid-Coast Trolley Project

The Super Loop Transit Project is a new circulator transit route providing frequent, higher-speed transit service with state-of-the-art vehicles and upgraded transit stop amenities within the North University City area of San Diego.  It will provide access to the following areas: UTC, La Jolla Village Square, UCSD, Executive Way/Genesee Avenue office parks, and Nobel Park library, park and research facilities.
