Today's I-15 Road Closures

The following closures will be in effect from Wednesday evening (12/03) through Thursday morning (12/04). These closures are expected to be placed beginning at 9 p.m. and picked up by 5 a.m. or earlier Thursday.

Surface Streets:

1. Partial lanes EB / WB Del Lago Blvd at I-15 -- Overhead Sign installation

Ramps:

1. I-15 SB On ramp from Poway Rd -- Road work
2. I-15 SB On ramp from Rancho Penasquitos Blvd -- Road work
3. I-15 SB Off ramp to Mercy Rd / Scripps Poway Pkwy -- Road work
4. I-15 SB On ramp from Carroll Canyon Rd* -- AC paving work
5. I-15 SB Off ramp to Miramar Rd / Pomerado Rd* -- AC paving work
6. I-15 SB On ramp from EB Miramar Rd* -- AC paving work
7. I-15 SB On ramp from WB Pomerado Rd* -- AC paving work
8. I-15 SB Off ramp to Miramar Way* -- AC paving work
9. I-15 SB On ramp from Miramar Way* -- AC paving work

*Consecutive ramps will not be closed concurrently

Freeway Lanes:

1. I-15 NB Partial lanes from Ted Williams Pkwy / SR 56 to Centre City Pkwy -- Overhead sign installation and Electrical work
2. I-15 SB Partial lanes from Lake Hodges Bridge to Jct SR 52 -- Overhead sign installation, Road work, Electrical work and AC Paving work

Full Freeway Closures (Detours will be posted):

None

Managed Lanes

1. I-15 SB and NB Managed Lanes from Ted Williams Pkwy / SR 56 to Green Valley Creek -- Overhead sign installation and Electrical work

Bike Lane:

1. The bike lane along southbound I-15 will be detoured between Centre City Parkway and Via Rancho Parkway through the end of 2008. Detour signs will be posted to alert motorists and bicyclists of the closure.

Our contractor will place signs to assist motorists through the closures. As always, weather (rain/fog etc.) plays a role in the implementation of planned traffic closures. Please contact me should you have any questions or concerns associated with the closures.
